Under the Sea

This is a pocket letter I made for a friend. I also made a card to go with it in the post before, if you would like to see it.
First I coloured with watercolour pencils a page from a colouring book, the last pic is of that page. Then I cut it up for my card and for some of the pockets, for the other pockets I used patterned paper. Added stickers, die cuts, gems, twine and shells.

Then the back pockets I filled with gifts, some hand made and of course a letter. Hope you like it!

Vitamin Sea

Have you got the winter flu? Or the winter bug? What you need is some Vitamin Sea!
Go online, book a flight ✈ to some sunny destination by the sea 🐳 and hopefully all your troubles, and germs, will be washed away with the waves 😎

Below is a card I made for a friend using an image from a colouring book. I coloured in the image with watercolour pencils and added lots of glitter, some by accident. I cut one of the fishes out to add on the card with sticky foam after. For the finishing touches I added blue n white twine, some dots for the bubbles and the message that is hand written.
Hope you like it and thanks for visiting!

A lesson from the flowers

We can learn a lot from nature. Many scientists, engineers etc have developed products based on designs they found in nature. But could we personally learn lessons from the flowers? Well over 2000 years ago the wisest man to ever walk the Earth said we could learn a lesson from the Lilies of the field. You can find his words here → Matthew 6:28-34
Below is a flipbook I made of Snowdrop flowers. They are a winter flower and sometimes when you see them growing in large numbers it looks like snow, hence the name.
This month I have the privileged of being the guest designer for the Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge blog. There new challenge starts today and if you would like to take part you can press on this link to take you there →Fussy and fancy challenge

So this is the front of my flipbook and on one side I have made a pocket. The pictures below are of what is in the pocket, a card and 2 double sided cards that can even be hung up on a wall as pictures.

Contents of side pocket:

This is the inside and back of the flipbook and on the side panel at the top is another pocket with 2 bookmarks in it. On the side panel is also an envelope with some mini reminder cards of Bible verses and quotes.

This is what was in the envelope.

These are the 2 bookmarks I made to go in the top pocket.

Hope you liked it and where able to read some of the quotes/words of wisdom from these beautiful Snowdrops. Maybe if you see some this winter you will be reminded of those lessons.

Stressed?

I made this tag for my sister-in-law. Its stressful for her having me as her sister-in-law 😂
I used 2 rubber stamps to make this, one for the image and one for the quote. I coloured them using promarkers, gel and glitter pens.
The candy paper was actually recycled invites to some local summer event. One side of the invites had this cute design so I used them back to back and cut out a tag shape.
I have also used 2 kinds of ribbons, some stickers and enamel dots.
Thanks for visiting and for all your comments!
