Just a simple card I made recycling an image of tulips from a garden magazine, some stickers, washi tape and a get well message.

Blue Tit Birds

Something different today instead of a card. This was a gift I made for my sister, a necklace and bracelet set.
I drew the birds out on a sheet of shrink plastic and coloured them in with Sharpe pens. I punched a hole in each one and then used my heat gun to shrink each one at a time. Its a bit tricky because the plastic is so light the birds literally fly away when you have the heat gun on them. The top picture shows the size of the original bird at the top and below all the ones I shrunk.

I then added hooks, beads, chain and ribbon to make a necklace and bracelet with them. It took some time and effort making these, not as easy and simple as a card but it was fun and I love Blue Tit birds 😍

Made this for a friend who is crazy about unicorns and rainbows and all things sparkly!
This was a digi image that I coloured with promarkers and glitter pens. The background paper is actually sparkly too but it is not showing in the pictures much.

Giant Forget Me Not

These things are coming up all over my garden and I can't get rid of them. They are actually very pretty, grow in the shade, are loved by bees and look amazing if you have masses of them. All the things you would want from a plant? Yes, but these take over your garden like some thing from the Day of the Triffids! And they have spiky hairs and deep roots and choke your other plants.
So if you are some place or somewhere in life you are not too happy with, as the quote on the card says, "Bloom where you are planted." Make the best of your situation, look for the positive and remember this unstoppable, indestructible plant and grow!

Blue Girl

This is a card I made for my sister, who has been a wonderful help in a difficult time.
I used 3 die cuts here. One of the girl, one of the white flowers and one of the message. The patterned paper is just a spare piece of wallpaper.
Hope you like it and thanks for visiting!

I was inspired by the silhouettes in the picture and the night effect. Hence I did my card in blue and used a silhouette of a girl.

A Daisy for You

I love this cute digi image! Perfect for a little girl 👧 I have had it printed out and even coloured it in ages ago but only now got around to making a card with it.
I used promarkers to colour the image a some glitter pens too. Two different patterned papers, a rose, a message and a shiny frame around the image.
What do you think!

Together is a Wonderful place to be

This was a different kind of a wedding card I made for two dear friends of ours. They had their wedding ceremony in a beautiful garden in Portugal in the Algarve. It was the first time I visited Portugal and it was a beautiful experience!
They chose a beautiful place to get married, hence I chose the message, "Together is a wonderful place to be." Some of the message was hand written, a rubber stamp and a sticker too.
The card is in a flipbook style and has a number of pages.
For the front, apart from the message I also added a palm tree card topper and some mini enamel dots.

These are some of the inside pages where I put some card toppers, rub on stickers and gifts.
